Massage movements are mainly, effleurage, stroking and circular movements. The Marma points (energy centres) of the feet and lower legs are stimulated during the massage.
Ayurvedic Facelift Massage
Ayurvedic Facelift Massage will leave you feeling relaxed, glowing with health, revitalised and looking good; for a special occasion, as part of your regular maintenance or as a treat. It is advisable to wear clothing that leaves the neck and shoulders bare; a towel is placed over the top half of the body. The areas massaged are the face, neck and shoulders. The marma points (energy centres) of the face are stimulated during the massage. Massage movements include flowing effleurage, gliding, stroking, rolling.
Indian Head Massage
Indian Head Massage is usually performed seated. It is not necessary to remove all clothing, just to have the neck and shoulder area easily accessible. The areas massaged are the head, neck, shoulders and upper back, arms and face. Massage movements used include: effleurage, kneading, vibration, friction, cupping. Oil may be used but most clients prefer the massage without oil.
Shirodhara Treatments
The benefits of Shirodhara treatments are many. You will be given a short, gentle facial massage prior to Shirodhara treatment, so you will be feeling perfectly comfortable and relaxed. It is necessary only for the area from the shoulders up to be uncovered. A towel is placed over the upper body.
